Policy:
Use the following guidelines to cancel a meeting or to check on a scheduled
meeting: It
is up to the facilitator to decide to cancel a meeting. The facilitator may
consult with Carol Connolly or Kate Dudding. If the facilitator
decides to cancel a meeting: 1) Send out an e-mail message via the Story Circle
listserv (or ask Carol Connolly or Kate Dudding to do it) and 2)
Notify the library.
Story Circle members who are planning to attend a meeting may call or e-mail
either the facilitator or the library to determine if a meeting is being held.

Held every Thursday and open to all styles of music and spoken
word performance, including poetry, comedy, and storytelling. The
producers warmly welcome whatever you have to offer.
Performer registration from 7 to 7:25 PM. Performances start at 7:30. No
telephone registration permitted. No special preference is given to kids, pros,
or to those traveling long distances.
Participants play two songs or speak for 10 minutes. There is no
featured performer at Weekly Open Mic.

Among Ourselves
Twice
a month since January, Dee and Frank Wind of Frank –Lee
Speaking have been conducting a storytelling workshop for seniors at
Beechwood in Troy. They will continue the workshop once a month until
further notice. They are also performing 30 minutes of storytelling at 10
am on March 24th on WRPI.
Frank and Dee performed for the Milton Terrace North Elementary
School to help kick off their PARP program on Friday, March 5th.
And finally, they presented storytelling for a first grade class at Westmere
Elementary School on Monday, March 22nd.
Looking forward, Dee and Frank will be telling stories at Geneseo
College on Saturday April 3rd at 4:00 pm.

is proud to announce that son Brian Schwartz of Somerville, MA
who has attended storytelling swaps and conferences all his life, has now
created a business with story-sharing as its core. He is currently accepting
clients for both phone and in-person consultation at
Realizing Your Vision. Using the art of eliciting and offering
stories, Brian provides coaching on networking through professional and
personal online sites, healing personal relationships, and achieving your
as-yet-unfulfilled dreams and visions. Brian has a Masters in Intercultural
Relations. He has been a recovery support specialist with MA North Suffolk
County, a national field organizer for the Obama campaign, an adjunct professor
at Lesley University in Cambridge and the Community Life Coordinator for
